Sitting in miserable traffic. Like, six hours to go 125 miles miserable. Beautiful curves on that Jag, though. And I always like to chop the suspension in my pick-em-up trucks.

I’ve been considering dropping my truck lower, the stock height for a Titan is pretty high, at least compared to the trucks I got used to when I was growing up.

The bare metal XKE has a distinct air-speed record plane kind of vibe:
That’s a very good thing.

At least he can load the bed without a ladder, and up the trailer without a 4" drop hitch.

Personally, I wouldn’t mess with the ride height of any truck, though I’ve added a leaf spring to good effect.

Agreed. Even my wife said so when she saw the car.
When I saw it, I immediately thought of this:

That was I-80 westbound, near Vacaville, Ca. We were headed home from Coloma, east of Sacramento, back to the Bay Area. We are east bay, closer to Oakland.

I was being facetious about chopping the suspension...

That’s cool, I was just commenting on the fact that most pickups nowadays are too tall to load and require special equipment to do the very thing for which they were purported to have been built.
Also my pickup is lowered 3"....

That’s a very ususual body.
The grill opening is SIII, but the rest of the car is SI or SII. There are no side markers at all, and those small openings in the lower sheet metal under the headlghts didn’t exist on any car.
With that roll bar, I’m wondering how long it has been a race car. They would have shaved the side markers years ago for that application. Maybe those lower openings are for brake ducting?

Sounds like you already know much more than I do about it. It has a very appealing aesthetic.

I’m guessing they
modified the grill opening for better cooling.
